why do I keep running across this verse?

Micah 6:14-15 (New International Version)

14 You will eat but not be satisfied;
your stomach will still be empty.
You will store up but save nothing,
because what you save I will give to the sword.

15 You will plant but not harvest;
you will press olives but not use the oil on yourselves,
you will crush grapes but not drink the wine.

    interesting verse. i usually wouldn’t have a comment on this one, but for me, this verse explains a little of what i’ve been learning. We will always be longing in this life. We will never be fully satisfied here. We will toil in this life and strive after the wind, but we will never be fully satisfied. And, this is God’s intention. Our satisfactions and joys here are only a glimpse of an eternity of complete and total satisfaction with Him…one day. That’s my interpretation anyway!
