iProphetmother

Describing myself has always been a bit of a challenge. I am a vessel of conflicts. I’ve always been a loner, but a friend to all. The kid who never fit into one group, but floated on the outskirts of many. Geeks, jocks, stoners, loners, cheerleaders, gifted –when lunchtime came, I sat with them all.

Even as an adult, this dynamic remains the same. Am I sad about it? Occasionally. I’ve learned to accept and live with it. And in the process, I’ve drawn closer to God. My husband says it is cosmic. And I suppose it is. I suppose also that this is one of the ties that binds us as a couple, him having been a loner as well.

This blog bears witness to my struggles with faith, friendship, finances, marriage, and motherhood. I appreciate the time you spend getting to know me and if you read anything that touches you in any way, know that you are not alone either.

That was me too! I’m so glad to see kindred spirit who was too open-minded to allow herself to be categorized and cliche-y!

    God bless you!
